Rodeo Regrets

After all of the wonderful books I read in January, this was a bit of a letdown-- but after many great books I usually have a rough time finding my newest niche to love!

Georgia on her Mind

It took a bit for me to get into this book but once I did, I enjoyed it. I think this is the first book I've read by Rachel but I'll be on the lookout for more.

Newtown

While this book was incredibly sad, it was encouraging as a teacher of young children to hear how many of the teachers were incredible protectors. A devastating topic, yes, but a well-written account of the true events that took place.

The Last Word

Kathy is one of those hit-or-miss authors for me. I've tried to read multiple books by her and just can't get into most of them. This was one I enjoyed though!

The Doctor's Christmas Quilt

I heard a lot of hype about this book and couldn't wait to read it :) I loved it, it was probably my favorite Kathi Macias book thus far!

Dear Mr. Knightley

I really wanted to completely fall in love with this book, but it wasn't a favorite of mine. I'll give the author another try for sure...but the whole Jane Austen/Pride and Prejudice thing isn't really my cup of tea so that probably played into it!

Bringing in Finn

This was not my typical insprational read, but I really enjoyed the story of this family's journey- while definitely not typical, it was a neat read!

Reinventing Rachel

This was a one-stop-coffeeshop read for me! I haven't been disappointed by this author yet and all of her books really pull me in!

Unintentionally Yours

A cute book and easy read, but a little blah for me after reading so many wonderful books during my Christmas break.

Double Blind

I'm not sure why I didn't enjoy this book as much as my last Brandilyn Collins book!

Humans of New York

While more a photographic journey than a wordy one, this book was incredibly entertaining and eye-opening. It's a great conversation starter and coffee table book.

Dark Justice

I read this book in one sitting (granted, I was in a car for over 24 hours so there wasn't anywhere else to go!) but I loved it!

A Riverwalk Christmas

I decided with this book to rate it by its individual novella stories. I really loved the first one way more than the others and it just didn't seem fair to judge the whole book together! As a side note, I was in San Antonio when I read the book which made it a bit more fun. :)

Riverside Serenade by Elizabeth Goddard- 5/5
Key to Her Heart- Martha Rogers- 2/5
Lights of Love- Lynette Sowell- 3/5
