The Negotiator

5/5

(I can’t believe I haven’t read this series before. Perhaps I have but I don’t remember it AT ALL which makes me think it’s new to me. Smile Anyway, I loved it—could not put it down, which was difficult because I was supposed to be working. I’m now on my way to pick up the second book in the series!)

The Cowboy’s Christmas Blessing

5/5

(Although it’s past Christmas, this was a fun, cheery read. The Cooper family sounds like a lot of fun to be a part of!)

My Life: Deleted

4/5

(I randomly picked this book up at the library and devoured it in just a couple days. The idea of falling and waking up with no clue of who you are is daunting and scary—yet that is what happened to Scott. His story of re-learning everything from his past life was beyond interesting.)

Nowhere, Carolina

5/5

(This was such a fun read. The paternity twist was fun, and attempts to get DNA samples literally cracked me up. I really enjoyed this book.) Smile

The Road to Forgiveness

4/5

(A delightful read—I sped through it once beginning. It was a perfect snowy day read!)

The Blood of Strangers

2/5

(After reading Robert Lesslie’s books, this one couldn’t seem to measure up. The stories were only slightly interesting and definitely could have used more details. However, it was a nice, fast read.)

Sketchy Behavior

3/5

(I am usually a huge fan of Erynn’s but this book fell a bit short. I enjoyed the story but after reading books by Terri Blackstock and the like, the suspense part was missing for me.)

Kris Jenner…and All Things Kardashian

4/5

(I struggled with what to rate this book. In one respect, I really enjoyed it. For the most part, it was a fun read. However, I’m glad I didn’t spend any money on this book (thanks to my library!). Kris writes as if she is entitled to so much- and for what reason? I found the flaunting of their lifestyle, always jetting off to here or there, shopping at high end stores, etc. a bit much.)

Angels on Call

5/5

(I really enjoyed the stories in this book! I only wish it had been longer, I am a sucker for true-life medical stories.) Smile

The Big 5-0

4/5

(This was a quick, summery read. It was mostly set in Florida and made me want to be there enjoying the warm sunshine!)

Thyme for Love

4/5

(The storyline was interesting and had me guessing right until the end. The characters were well thought out and past histories consistent.)

A Daughter’s Legacy

2/5

(I had a hard time getting into this book. I suppose it could be because I am not an animal lover!)
